We also staged first-class events for our own industry in Zurich this year. In June, we hosted 300 trade fair directors, event managers and service providers from the exhibition industry at the UFI European Conference 2024. This varied event and its stimulating accompanying programme were particularly well received by the guests. Over the three days, participants were able to jointly develop project ideas, exchange specialist know-how and discuss industry trends.
Then, at the ICCA Future of Healthcare Meetings, some 150 members and associations from all over Europe used Messe Zurich as a platform to discuss the further development of medical events. This gave us the opportunity to forge promising new contacts and conduct talks about future events.
These events, which are important for networking, enabled us to present our expertise as an event and congress partner in an international setting while positioning both Zurich and Basel as desirable event locations. Industry events are crucial for the further development of event formats. These in-depth discussions enable us to provide venues that are even better tailored to customer requirements. At this point, we would like to extend our thanks to our reliable partner network and especially to the Convention Bureau Zurich. It is only through our great working relationship with them that the events were able to run smoothly.
